Famed horror producer Eli Roth and Orion Pictures are proud to announce rising Mexican-Canadian director Gigi Saul Guerrero is set to direct the latest horror offering, 10-31.
The movie is about a Halloween night becomes a terrifying ordeal for a young woman who takes her niece and nephew out trick-or-treating, only to discover a note hidden in their candy saying there’s a killer on her block.

I instantly felt passionate about taking on this story and making it a thrilling and visceral ride for audiences on the big screen.” said Saul Guerrero about this new venture. Gigi is not only set to become a trailblazer in her area but is proudly supported by her team, John Hegeman, President Orion Pictures said “Gigi is a force of nature and we are unbelievably excited to collaborate with her on 10-31 as she continues to blaze a trail in the horror space.”
Guerrero is the co-founder of Luchagore Productions. Her directing credits include such viral titles as A Luchagore Christmas, Evil Dead in 60 seconds, and the short film El Gigante, available on SHUDDER which was the recipient of over 40+ Awards worldwide. In 2014, Guerrero participated in the Mexican horror anthology Mexico Bárbaro with its Day of the Dead segment while still in film school. She is the recipient of the 2016 Vancouver Women in Film and Television “Artistic Innovation Award” and her series with Warner Brothers/Stage 13, La Quinceañera, won the Audience Award at the 2017 Morbido Film Festival.
